Many mistake videos or slideshows for virtual tours, but this is inaccurate. A video tour is a prerecorded walkthrough, while a genuine virtual tour is interactive, enabling users to explore at their own pace for a more immersive experience.

The cost of our virtual tours is determined by the size of the property. Prices start from £99. We also offer discounts for multiple bookings.

HOW ARE VIRTUAL TOURS CREATED?
The Matterport Pro2 camera is chosen for its superior image quality and its ability to scan the space in 3D. The inclusion of infrared cameras aids in enhancing the system's understanding of the spatial dimensions, resulting in more captivating and immersive 3D tours.
HOW LONG DOES A VIRTUAL TOUR TAKE TO SHOOT?
Capturing a 3-bedroom show home using our Matterport photographers typically requires approximately 1 to 2 hours. However, the time needed can vary based on factors such as the size of the space and the level of access available for shooting. For larger spaces, the process may extend to multiple days, and the duration is also influenced by the overall shooting schedule. Factors such as access restrictions or specific time constraints can impact the timeframe needed to complete the Matterport virtual tour for larger or more complex environments.
HOW LONG UNTIL OUR MATTERPORT VIRTUAL TOUR IS READY?
After the completion of the scan, most scans are promptly uploaded to the Matterport servers within a few hours. However, the rendering process, which transforms the collected data into the final virtual tour, may take up to 24 hours. During this time, the images and 3D data are processed in the cloud to create a cohesive and interactive Matterport virtual tour. Once the rendering is complete, the virtual tour is ready for sharing, providing users with a dynamic and immersive experience of the captured space.

HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE PRESENT AT THE SHOOT?
Just a single 3D scanning Matterport photographer is present at each Matterport shoot.
CAN WE INCLUDE PEOPLE WITHIN OUR TOUR?
We recommend that Matterport virtual tours are scanned when no people are present. However, this doesn’t mean that people can’t be in a shot if this is unavoidable. We do strongly advise that people stay in their positions for the whole shoot if this is the case.
CAN YOU EDIT IMAGES TO REMOVE ITEMS OR BLEMISHES?
No, Matterport imagery cannot be edited to remove any items or blemishes that may be in view. We can blur content if this is required.

DOES THE PRICE INCLUDE A 2D FLOOR PLAN?
No, we charge an additional price for a floor plan. These start at £50 for a simple 2D black and white plan.

WHAT INFORMATION DO YOU NEED TO PREPARE A QUOTE?
For an accurate quote on a Matterport virtual tour, please provide the number of rooms, floors, and the size of the space. If available, share floor plans or architect drawings for more precise pricing.

ARE THERE ANY MONTHLY OR YEARLY HOSTING COSTS?
3 months hosting is included.

HOW MUCH DOES HOSTING COST AFTER 3 MONTHS?
Our hosting service for the virtual tour model is £50 per year. Alternatively, clients can opt to create their own Matterport account, and we can facilitate the transfer of the model to their account.

In general, no special software is needed for virtual tours. They are designed to work smoothly on standard web browsers. While VR headsets can enhance the experience for some immersive tours, they are not essential for the basic functionality of most virtual tours.
CAN I ADD ADDITIONAL INFORMATION TO MY VIRTUAL TOUR?
Yes, all the virtual tour platforms allow for the addition of interactive hotspots, where viewers can click to get more information, watch videos, or view related photos.
DO VIRTUAL TOURS WORK ON MOBILE DEVICES?
All virtual tours are designed to be responsive and compatible with mobile devices, tablets, and desktop computers.
HOW CAN I SHARE MY VIRTUAL TOUR?
Virtual tours can typically be shared by embedding them on a website, sending a direct link, or even sharing through social media platforms.
